I grew up in Eastern Washington where I spent many summers working on farms in the surrounding area.
I attended Washington State University during my undergraduate studies, and later received a Doctorate
in Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Following the completion of
my internship at Oakland Naval Hospital, I served as a general dentist and anesthetist aboard a navel
ship for two years. After completing my military assignment, I practiced general dentistry for seven
years in Bellevue. I was then accepted into the orthodontic specialty program at the University of
Oregon. I graduated from this two-year program in 1978,
and began practicing Orthodontics in the Factoria area of Bellevue. While my practice was developing,
I attended a comprehensive two-year continuing education course for orthodontics at the Foundation for
Continuing Education in California.
I am currently an active member of the ADA, WSDA, AAO, and the PCSO. I am a member of the Northwest
Orthodontic Study Club, and have been a member on numerous Dental Society Committees.
My practice is well established and limited to orthodontics. Together with my staff, I have been
striving to create beautiful, healthy smiles for over twenty years. Providing the highest quality of
care in a comfortable environment is our goal. Our office is continually updating our procedures and
technology, as it becomes available. Most recently, we have implemented the Dolphin Imaging system.
This powerful program allows us to store patient’s records digitally and is a tremendous aide in patient
education. |
